I wonder how close Szeliga can keep this race? She seems like a very good candidate.

It likely wont be close, especially if its Van Hollen, Edwards may be somewhat closer.

Good to see Van Hollen winning by a good ammount

With 20 point leads? Probably not, even if it were a Republican wave year.

With the right candidate, in 2014, if Hogan had coattails.  I wonder why Kefalas wasn't polled, I think he's a better candidate for MD than Szeliga.

This is interesting considering blacks are overwhelmingly for Hillary. White Hillary voters must be going for Van Hollen by North Korea margins. Who are the Sanders/Van Hollen voters?

Wow, Edwards really should have endorsed Bernie. Black Hillary supporters probably still support Edwards. White Hillary supporters are already strong Van Hollen. Bernie supporters are suddenly more likely to vote Edwards. Especially the 30% who are undecided.

As for the question, many might sort of be picking randomly since they both endorsed Hillary.

Makes sense, because that area is very rural and mostly White.
