Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 1,038 likely Republican Primary voters and 1,026 likely Democratic Primary voters.  The poll has a margin of error of ± 3.0% for Republicans and ± 3.1% for Democrats, all at the 95% confidence level.  The poll was conducted from April 17th through the 18th.  The total may not round to 100% because of rounding.  The polls were conducted using automated telephone calls (IVR technology), with the results weighted by relevant voting demographics.

It looks like it's 89% white for the whole sample.

Not bad for a state that's 65% white.

A Delaware poll? Cool!

It's from Gravis? Oh.

Here's hoping for an RI poll.

Is Gravis seriously this daft? I will film myself drinking out of a toilet bowl and post it on the Atlas Forum if Delaware's primary electorate is only 10% black.

Seems pretty accurate, at least on the Republican side.  Kasich is making a big push here, though.

5% African American? Did they forget that African Americans live in Delaware? This isn't Idaho

28% of Delaware's Democratic primary voters were African-American in 2008

According to John Weaver the Kasich campaign has pretty much given up on DE:

Delaware

Delaware will award all 16 of its delegates if a candidate receives a plurality of the vote. We expect Trump to have a strong chance of finishing above 50% and would recommend spending resources on the other April 26th states.

"Big push" probably wasn't the best choice of words.  Trump and Kasich are the only candidates with any presence in Delaware, and are probably about even in their (lack of) infrastructure.  From what I've heard, Mike Castle will be making phone calls for Kasich, although I believe that has been organized by his SuperPAC which could explain the divergence from his campaign.  Trump will be visiting on Friday.  Both Trump and Kasich have normal, volunteer canvassers/phonebanks.  I am unaware of any activities whatsoever by the Cruz campaign in Delaware.  The state convention is next weekend, so we'll see if there are any delegate selection shenanigans.

On that note, does anyone else find it strange that Weaver is essentially commanding anti-Trump PACs to spend their money in a certain way?

That #NeverTrump memo is just sad. "Trump is at 49% in Connecticut, but Kasich can beat him in 4/5 districts!"

MSNBC yesterday said that the Kasich people are PISSED at the #NeverTrump movement for not putting up the level of ad support in New York like they did for Cruz in Wisconsin.

Is he really surprised? Ever since Ohio, #NeverTrump has just been another version of #Cruz2016. They used Kasich for what he was worth then tossed him away.
