That doesn't seem likely.

I think we've found a poll worse than the Mike Downs one.

Probably just a junk poll. It makes me wish I had waited to buy those Sanders OR shares though.

Hopefully as inaccurate as the last Michigan poll (Hillary up 37).

Hey, it might be more accurate than that one Kansas poll. Maybe...

If this poll was as bad as the Kansas poll, the result would be Sanders + 33. So probably not as bad.

Oregon is a closed primary and Sanders hasn't done too well in those.

I agree that this poll is ridiculous, but remember that a poll came out of Washington primary voters not too long ago that had Hillary in the lead. It's entirely possible that the caucus vs. closed primary dynamic will lead to a pretty drastically different result than north of the Columbia.

It is also interesting that on the GOP side the poll has Trump at only 45%, with 14% for both Cruz and Kasich, with the other 27% voting other and undecided.

I don't think anyone (except maybe r/sandersforpresident) thinks that Sanders will win OR by 46%. But OR is, if anything, more demographically favorable for Sanders than WA, and consider that some of his best counties in WA bordered OR. The fact that it's a closed primary will bring his margin down to earth a bit, but I can't fathom a nearly 3-to-1 win becoming a loss simply due to it being a closed primary instead of an open caucus. Would Sanders have won an open caucus in a state like Maryland?

Sanders might do worse than Obama did here. Maybe. It is a closed primary. The demographics really couldn't be much more favorable for him though.

I'm a bit confused. I went to look at the actual crosstabs, and it appears that the race is actually 45 to 38, so Clinton +7. idk why the graph on the news article says 48 to 33.

Yeah, this can't be right. If Hillary were to win - a huge if - it'd be by a teeny tiny margin.
