An anti-war libertarian who became a non-interventionist neoliberal in 2003. They went full on neoliberal/neoconservative moderate in 2008/2012, but have since reverted to paleoconservatism.

Clearly that is Occam's explanation for a person who gradually went from generally supporting left-wing candidates to generally supporting right-wing candidates over +40 years.
