Benchmark is reporting low turnout in Berkeley, but schools out so that's not surprising.

Also seeing reports of high turnout and long voting lines in Mercer County, NJ.

https://public.tableau.com/profile/paulmitche11#!/vizhome/CapitolWeeklyDemPresidentialPrimaryAVExitPoll/USDEMPRIM

An exit poll of 16,000 respondents conducted in CA shows that Clinton slightly leads Sanders by 8 points (54-46) among absentee voters who voted by mail sometime before June 4th. And according to a Field estimate, over 60% of these absentee voters will make up the electorate in tonight's primary.

Interestingly enough, Clinton is tied with Sanders among early Latino voters at 50-50. I expected it to be close in CA considering Latino voters here are disproportionately younger.

Overall, it's looking more and more like a tight race. Back in 2008, Hillary was ahead in absentee voting exit polls by 23 points in CA.

It's really a crime that we're not going to get a proper exit poll in California tonight.

Unrelated, but I feel like an email poll would favor Sanders, dont you think?

Yeah, it feels like e-mails don't favor Clinton in general.

NYT graphics make it look like SD polls have closed. Is this the case?

Yes.

Hillary winning in largely white, rural Warren Co. Good sign for her in NJ?

Literally nothing's in yet, lol.

Anyone watching CNN right now? The pundits there are literally having a sh**tshow about Trump's comments.

Looks like a decent +13 point spread for Clinton in NJ. I'd expect that to hold, though the highland rural counties could close up the margins just a tad.

They just rescinded their call.

NM coming in with Clinton in a huge lead.

Partially due to Albuquerque only being in.

Clinton's slight lead is mostly due to early voting. I imagine Sanders will go up soon.

Finally, it's over. Hopefully Bernie's supporters are gracious in defeat. I've been a Sanders supporter throughout this primary, but Clinton has won. Unless she ends up in an orange jumpsuit in less than a month, the superdelegates are going to retain their endorsements and she'll be the nominee.

I think the best possible option is for him to push for a more progressive party platform, something to accommodate the interests of the tens of millions of voters who voted for Sanders in the primary. And I think if Clinton can accept those interests and look like the more mature candidate against the raging orangutan Trump, she'll have this in the bag in November.

So count me out of the #BernieOrBust crowd, because your favorite doesn't always win, and sometimes you just need to settle for what's better.

As for November, I'll settle for either Clinton or Johnson. I can't see myself voting for Jill Stein at all because of her anti-vax and homeopathy nonsense. If Bernie decides to screw it all and run as an independent, I'll consider that too.
