Clinton 39
Trump 36
Johnson 6
Stein 4

They also did a silly 4 way including Sanders and Clinton but I won't waste time putting up hypotheticals.

Clinton 44% favorable, 56% unfavorable. Trump 36% favorable, 62% unfavorable.

They asked the Clinton-Trump-Johnson-Stein AFTER asking Trump-Clinton-Johnson-Sanders, thereby biasing the influence of Sanders supporters.

I can't wait until September or so when people stop pretending to be undecided/voting third party.

Exactly IceSpear! The current polls are close to meaningless. Perhaps good entertainment, nothing more.

We may have to wait till October for good polling results, though.

Why on earth are they polling Sanders as an independent?

Edit: This poll was conducted for The Guardian.

They still need to try to find a way to make Hillary look bad now that the primary is over.

If anyone's wondering what the Sanders numbers were:

Trump - 35
Clinton - 32
Sanders - 18
Johnson - 4

Though I'm glad that's not happening. It'd pretty much give the election to Trump.

"Voters were asked which Democrat should take Clinton’s place if for any reason she is unable to run. 49% say Sanders, 21% say Joe Biden and 21% say someone else should be the replacement Democrat."

SUSA crosstabs are what they are, but Clinton+3 is reasonable right now.

A quick look at the crosstabs and you will see Trump on 17%, not 27%, among AAs.

Plus SUSA's subsamples are notoriously strange but their toplines tend to be decent.
