/r/news locked down discussion of the shooting literally as soon as the shooter's identity came out. It basically pushed all discussion of it over to grosser subreddits like /r/TheDonald.

Here is what his father says. The guy was born and raised in the US, this probably has nothing to do with terrorism.

Whether or not you can extrapolate that to something that would be inspired by ISIS or a terrorist motive is difficult to say.

After the Paris nightclub attack, it appears the shooter had a fair amount of knowledge of how these things go down.

Killing 50 men and wounding 50 more is a lot to actual shooting, and this would have taken quite some time to plan and execute.

At this stage, I cant help but feel for so many families in grief at the moment.

This is such an enormous waste of life.
