ha, what's so bad about him? (serious question, I really don't know)

The reason I made him immune is he got a lot of votes in a previous round and I'd rather one of these Middle East oligarchs John Ford is such a big fan of go first.

I probably shouldn't be budding in where I may persuae votes, but I have a particular hatred of Hans-Adam. He basically said to the people of Liechtenstein, "Make me your Absolute Prince or I will move to the U.S", so the people were black mailed into voting in favour of his referendum.

Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahayan.

It isn't time to get rid of Al Sabah yet (there are plenty worse still left in this bracket) so I figure the votes against him are only because he backed the Iraq War...like any Kuwaiti didn't want to see Iraq go down. Roll Eyes

Yeah, Kuwait, Israel and Iran are the only counties in the region where the war was at all popular. But of course, Israel and Iran have already been voted off. Cheesy

Yeah, I haven't voted for anybody from these three counties either. (Actually, I'm not sure about Saleh and the early rounds. But I haven't in a long time.)

This bracket still has lots of tempting targets, so I'm not going to worry yet. And perhaps we'd better stop cluttering up the thread. Cheesy

I went for him because he makes a much more interesting target thatn yet another cookie cutter boring dictator. Although there are some pretty bad ones here that have managed to slip under the radar. Hun Sen for example, I don't think he's got even a single vote so far...

I don't always agree with your choices, but it seems you're a pretty astute picker in being able to spot characteristics of different leaders.

His country is crap. Honestly, there are a lot of corrupt, terrible leaders, even if they were elected.

Maybe not an all out dictator but he's at least at the level of Putin.
