I didn't see this posted anywhere else on here, and it's an unusually slow night tonight at work, so this is what I've been working on for the past three hours
I looked at the presidential exit polls from 2012 and compared the results from all of the states that were polled to that of the national average for the following categories: gender (men and women), race (whites), and gender by race (white men and white women).
The following maps display how much more Republican or Democratic each of the demographics were in each state compared to the national average.
MenNational Average: Romney 52, Obama 45 (R+7)
WomenNational Average: Obama 55, Romney 44 (D+11)
WhitesNational Average: Romney 59, Obama 39 (R+20)
White MenNational Average: Romney 62, Obama 35 (R+27)
White WomenNational Average: Romney 56, Obama 42 (R+14)
