I think we can safely assume that Stein will get nowhere near 7% in November.

Clinton +5 seems about right at this moment.

Closer than I expected.  CNN might be trying to sabotage #NeverTrump as well.

I'll eat my own foot if Stein wins by 7% in November.

But otherwise, interesting how Johnson gets 9% overall, yet 66% of the respondents haven't even formed a favorable or unfavorable opinion of him yet.

Btw, I think pretty much every poll shows that support for both Johnson and Stein in these polls skews young.  In this one for example:

age 45 and younger:
Clinton 41%
Trump 30%
Johnson 13%
Stein 10%

age 65 and older:
Trump 48%
Clinton 43%
Johnson 3%
Stein 2%

I wonder how Trump will react when it finally dawns on him that he won't be able to beat Hillary.

Bernie fans obviously. This is why Clinton is working on getting Sanders into the fold.  She still hasn't consolidated the usually left leaning Indies who went for Bernie, and in a close election they can be the difference.  Stein will never get 7% but many of those may just not vbote, especially the millenials.

The thought that Stein ends up anywhere near 7% is absurd. She'll be below 1%. Johnson may reach 4% or so, but that's it.

Nader was polling like that and in the end he only took 2,5%.
Stein will be lucky to get 1%.

Agree that it's mostly a protest poll right now, but I would be very interested to see what the real percentage is of Sanders voters would never have normally engaged the Democratic Party to begin with versus who are liberal but faithful Democrats still hurting over the primary.

I think it will suffice to say that they are making progress but need to come up with something better than "...but...but...President Trump!" to pull that Stein number down and fix the numbers in the Rust Belt, for instance, where people go wild for Stein, Sanders, and even Trump's economic message.

I think Stein could get 2% or maybe even 3% but it'll depend on how many states she gets on the ballot in.

Anyone notice that Trump leads Clinton when voters are asked who can better handle the economy and terror? Surprising.

"President Johnson" refers to Lyndon Johnson, not Gary Wink
