TRUMP better start airing some ads if he wants to carry his home state.

In other news, water is wet... The only realistic thing Trump can do in far-gone leftist NY is cut the lead under 20. Too many hopeless liberals in NYC to balance the rest of the state, which is actually pretty decent.

The favorables by party are interesting for both Clinton and Trump, there could be a lot of crossover and third party votes here.

How come, then the conservative candidate in this race is so much ahead?

Why does it feel like New York is so over-polled every election cycle?

New York has a number of uni pollsters that regularly poll the state - Siena, Marist and Qunnipiac from neighboring Connecticut, among others.  You only hear these polls during election cycles.  But Siena in particular polls year round regardless of the time of the cycle.

In other news, Hillary is loved by the wonderful people in her home state, sporting a 50-47 favorability rating. Trump is down in the doldrums with a 28-68 rating. Sad!

A 50-47 favorability rating would only qualify as "loved" by the standards of this particular election. Tongue
