This bill is a bill that was former Atlasian law. President's usually name recipients of the Order of the Star of Atlasia, at the end of their final term. This is a bill that, I liked and thought should be continued.

I see no issue with this bill.

I remember when Simfan struggled to get this in 2012.

Now it has become such a tradition, it is universally accepted.

If you mean absolutely everyone without exception likes it, no.

Indeed, but it is nowhere near where it was four years ago in terms of opposition though.

What's the matter with giving some post-nominals to people who deserve it? It's a fine recognition for the hard work people put into this nation.

I don't like it because the recognition is arbitrary, based on the judgement of one person. It is debatable if one person merits recognition while another could be overlooked. I don't think we should have these stars.

I guess I have a more egalitarian view of citizens and less cliquey than some.

Seeing as how there has been no debate in the last 42 hours, we will now move to a 72-hour final vote.

(poirot: i get where your argument is coming from, but since the o.s.a. is just a fancy title with no power attached to it, i think it's not a real problem)
