Polls mainly show Democrats ahead.  I'd say he's ahead but it's looking like it'll be a close race soon.  Remember Bush's 91% approval rating during the first gulf war and how he trailed Dukakis in 1988.  Much more recent comebacks have taken place like Obama over Clinton in 2008.

Yep, same. If Trump can't lead after his convention, it'll really make me question if this is possibly a winnable election for him, barring some black swan event or extremely pivotal debates.

Talking about the non-third party poll, which is probably more accurate considering third parties always deflate rapidly.
