Opinion of venues that don't allow crowd surfing

Horrible Venues obviously. I wonder if they'd ever throw a band out because the vocalist jumped off stage, which is quite common. Luckily I haven't been to one in a long time since all the ones here like that are basically "youth clubs"

A guy told me an awesome story at a show once. He was seeing a relatively big band in Southern California at some stupid venue full of dumbass rules like that. So at some point some young kid climbed on stage and jumped off. Shortly after that security grabbed him and were escorting him out. Once this was noticed, the band stopped playing. The vocalist then just said loudly into the mic "let the kid go."

Security actually did, and they didn't mess with anyone else for the rest of their set.
