This has been a pretty solid summer for the stock market.  The sell in May and go away crowd missed a nice upside opportunity.

It's interesting that now that the stock market is setting all time records mere months before the presidential election no one wants to talk about it.

That would be because Republicans believe that the stock market is lower than it was the day Obama took office.

In inflation adjusted terms Dow is still lower than the peak in March-May 2015 but of course that does not count dividends of the Dow components.   I would agree that as much as I back Trump in this election these stock prices points to an incumbent party win.
