He's losing popularity faster than Gray Davis did. Remember, Davis went from a 62-20 approval to a 22-70 approval.

Arnold is very vulnerable with these sorts of numbers. I haven't seen any recent matchup polls, but probably the main thing helping him in those sort of polls is that he has much better name ID than the Democrats.

the trouble is the republicans put up a candidate who is no different from the democrats, except that he is really cool.

He's an economic right-winger and he's not cool at all. Time to throw out Ken Lay's buddy.

Holy sh**t, amoung all adults (not just registered ones), his ratings are 31% approve, 58% disapprove.
