Maybe Illinois flips, but besides that I don't see anything different happening.

Warren didn't cause California to go Republican.

Seems about right. Maybe Thomas Dewey picking Dwight Green as his running mate creates enough of a butterfly effect to flip Virginia (which was one of the closesr states in 1948) to the Republicans as well. If that happened, the Presidential election would have went to the House of Representatives.
