That would also mean your state of Wisconsin is almost certainly blue (Obama won it by 7 last time with a Wisconsinite on the opposing ticket)

Most important part of that poll: 55% of Michiganders say that the state's economy is now improving. That number takes the state out of the battleground

As I've been saying for months now, yes Smiley Wisconsin should be in high single digits or low double digits.

Obama won by 14 in 08, and that's without Charlie Sykes bashing the GOP nominee on a daily basis.

This pollster isn't great, but we should all know that Michigan teases Republicans in the spring, only to become Safe D by the fall.

Wow, even the crappy Michigan pollsters look good.

I am very much looking forward to the next Marquette poll.

Epic MRA? You'd think a pollster named this would have Trump up by 20.

...or as the late great Detroit Tigers' radio and TV announcer Ernie Harwell said of home runs by Tiger sluggers...

Michigan is and always will be a pipe dream for Republicans. Too many Blaxicasians.

Seems like he's doing really badly with the socially conservative areas. I'm surprised so many have turned on him.

He's not really a social conservative or any kind of religious conservative. In fact you can legitimately argue that Clinton is better on both counts, which wouldn't be possible against any other GOP candidate (she talks about her Methodism a lot)

You mean to tell me a state whose population regularly interacts with real life Muslims is hesitant to support Donald Trump? This is surprising.

Wisconsin and Michigan are far deep in the Clinton Camp after this week.

Trump may still have a chance in the general election, but the "Rust Belt Brexit" theory is slowly melting away.
