Does Donald Trump's running mate help him in Indiana at all? He has a decent approval rating of 48%.

probably places it out of reach for Hillary. whereas before it was at least in the realm of potential upset states.

Obviously helps more if Johnson and Greenie's support keeps what's needed under 50.

Trump-Pence will win Indiana by at least the 2012 margin.  The more interesting elections there are for governor and for senator (will Bayh pick up a seat for the Democrats?).

I don't think he makes much of a difference. I don't think many people will decide their vote based on who the VP is.

Depends on how close the election is nationwide. If Trump keeps alienating fellow Republicans, I think Pence will place a floor on how low Trump can go in Indiana. If the national popular vote is close, though, I don't think Pence will make much of a difference.
