People understand that when you're an elected official, you have a duty to endorse your party's nominee, no matter how toxic they are. Same thing if the dems nominated Dennis Kucinich - top dems might not like the idea of voting for him, but you do it because it's your duty as an elected official to support the nominee of your party. Rubio's endorsement of Trump was pretty unenthusiastic anyways.

FL races comes down to the wire and Rubio isn't safe by any of the imagination.  With a Governor election as close as it was in 2014, eventhough Rubio is no Scott, Murphy still has a shot.
