If she is very progressive in her first term, she could be hit from the right. If she is too centrist in her first term, she could be hit from the left. Who could be those challengers?

I could see Garcia, Grayson, Anderson, Reich, Teachout, Fetterman, and Jealous as likely, about in that order. Besides those people, I agree Gabbard is the most likely. In other words, of big names, she is the most likely IMO.

Keith Ellison or Tulsi Gabbard would be my choices for largely quixotic runs from the left. Maybe Elizabeth Warren or Sherrod Brown if Clinton really pisses off the left. I don't think anyone notable would try to challenge Clinton from the right/center.

At least with you, you have the excuse that he's your ally on the right. They just like to pretend he's a racist white immigrant.

It must be fun being a forum bogeyman. Vote Democratic, or else the Santander under your bed will get you Cheesy

Funny that the guy was interested in a primary challenge from the right if Hillary governed the way he wanted and still wants.

The #Hillary2020 talk is almost the same nonsense than the #Kander2020 stuff. It's not happening. She won't be running, and if she does, won't win the Democratic nomination against any other serious candidate (Warren, Booker, Harris, Hickenlooper, Klobuchar, Sanders or Bullock).

Hillary Clinton still has supporters in the party for 2020. A lot of people don't know how Warren, Harris and Hickenlooper will do.

It's possible that the Democratic Party could see a brokered convention, and she could be the consensus, compromise candidate.

If Democrats only can put up a 73 year old woman who lost twice after starting as frontrunner, with all her bagage, they almost deserve to lose again. But the chance that she runs is little more than zero percent. Harris and Warren (among others) are already better known than Bernie was in 2013, and he almost beat Hillary before she lost to Donald Trump.
