Gentlemen of the first Assembly,
Congratulations on your elections. The people of the North trust that you will each help carry out a productive first session. After this body elects its Speaker and the Governor appoints a Lieutenant Governor among you, I urge you to address the
SOAP I drafted here and vote on the
regional symbols proposed here as your first orders of business.
As your senator, I'll be a keen observer of this body's deliberations and will always be available for input or assistance.
