That Arizona poll is fantastic. I'd been very worried about a stealth upset building there. And the fact that Missouri and North Carolina are consistently closer than Ohio and Florida continues to be hilarious, of course.

My bad, should've included it:

McCain - 55%
Kirkpatrick - 29%
Ward, not Kirkpatrick.

Not surprising. McCain is a fixture in Arizona and has received praise from across the spectrum for his work. I would honestly be surprised if the race ended up in single-digits.

Kirkpatrick was a candidate I actually thought could survive a Hillary loss in her state (a narrow loss, not an Obama-sized loss), given that she won re-election by 5% in her 51-48 Romney District in a republican wave year. If this poll is true, Hillary not only has to win Arizona, but win it comfortably, if she wants to drag across Kirkpatrick.

And Ward isn't doing any better than Hayworth was. Funny, the state party told me that McCain was a secret democrat who would be fairly easy to primary.

I have no doubt Mccain is favored. Let's see how this race develops after the primaries.

Looks like Burr is definitely not safe. Not encouraging numbers in Arizona, but we'll see what happens after the primary. McCain is favored, but I doubt he's up by that much.

Patently ridiculous. I guarantee he won't win by this much.

Kirkpatrick is running against a Vet and she failed on the question was Clinton honest. Even though she supports her. McCain will win.

McCain's tougher than people give him credit for.
