Pardon my language but when in hell is Telemundo going to broadcast any results?  I've had them on three hours now, the polls closed 40 minutes ago and it's still endless ads and talking heads with no numbers. This forum has better coverage.

I really have to wonder if they decided not to subtitle in English out of spite. Understandable I suppose if so.

Just look at PREP.  The  EL UNIVERSAL live stream is also very short on results.

Jaichind many thanks for all the updates and your expertise with this, it's really appreciated.

If he doesn't have a majority in both chambers, will he struggle to enact legislation domestically, like a US President might if his party didn't have both House and Senate?

Thanks

To be fair so little of the vote is in that there's not much point in talking about it. How can you analyze 0.15% of the vote?

You cannot.  I plan to go to bed in a few min and wake up in 4-5 hours when there are real results.

At this stage the results are pretty clear.  Outstanding questions are if MORENA-PT-PES can win a majority in both chambers and who wins Yucatan.  It seems that unless exit polls are way off MORENA should win Veracruz and Puebla.

I doubt there will be a PRI president again. Maybe they'll change the name or something.

AP is reporting that an official quick count by Mexican officials has Obrador winning between 53% to 54% of the vote.

Overperforming the polls and leading Anaya by over 30 points.

It's the same quick count as the image I posted

My apologies.

Anyways, Meade is massively underperforming the polls. PRI should disband and start over.

AMLO is about to cross 50% in the count.

The new government looks like it is going to have over 300 seats in the chamber of deputies and a commanding majority in the Senate. Taking in MORENA's gains in the states, AMLO has taken total control over Mexico's elected bodies in one fell swoop.

So far, AMLO is sweeping all but two states.

Anaya is losing his home state, Querétaro, by 6.86

Anaya is winning Nuevo León by 3.61, and Guanajuato by 13.06

AMLO is winning his home state, Tabasco, by a whopping 73.68. Anaya is polling third.

Does anyone have an explanation as to why Anaya is doing so well in Guanajuato?

Looking at the Chamber of Deputies map, the only regions that didn't landslide for MORENA are Yucatan for the PRI and Monterrey and the strip of Mexico immediately north of Mexico City for the PAN.

Guanajuato is a pretty right wing area. AMLO only got 13.3% of the vote there in 2012, and 15.8% in 2006.
