Some of these local results are just odd. Areas that were 60% PaF in the legislative elections going 60% PS at the local level. I'd attribute it mostly to the candidates, but it seems odd nonetheless.

This happens in every country. With a good Candidate, in local elections, you have a chance to win Smiley

Looking to the results so far, i think the PSD will make the extraordinary achievement of having fewer than 100 cities. PS is winning cities from CDU in Alentejo. BE will not win Salvaterra de Magos.

André Ventura is at around 20% with 40% counted in Loures.

Cheesy The Silves result is no wonder, if you know the candidates of the PSD and PS.

Just heard on TVI24, CDU may lose 10 cities to the PS!! Dear God.

The PSD will enter a leadership battle. We'll see if Passos withdraws from the race. But, what about PCP? They also got hammered in the elections, what will they do?

How can we interpret that result?

A brusing defeat for the PSD (time to go Passos); a huge victory for Costa, his first national victory as PS leader.

150. But this figures are not final. The PS, IMO, may win ariund 154; PSD around 95. They had 106.
