The election was seen as a dead heat for a long time. The name-recognition has made him a polarized figure in public, while Mr. Parker, who was seen as much more competent by political insiders, has barely appeared in public. The Parker campaign tried to denounce Kanye West with stories about his sexual relationships with male fish, which was countered by the democratic nominee with reports about the
drug abuse of Trey Parker during the Oscars.
The first debate was seen as a major win for Parker. Parker remained competent during the segment about foreign and immigration policy, while Kanye West destroyed the podium after a question which was seen as offensive (Lester Holt:
"Do you like fish sticks?").
The vice-presidential debate was a tie. No one gave a really good performance. Ludacris looked like a fool and Matt Stone was obviusly stoned.
The other debates had no impact because everyone was already sick and tired of those two candidates.
Here are the results:
Parkers libertarian-leaning standpoints make him strong in the west. He gest 100% of the vote in Utah, due to the fact that he supported the Mormon religion in his TV series and in his musical.
West gains 100% of the minority votes, achieving huge margins in the south and at the west coast.
As a rural libertarian from California, Parker does very bad in New England, except for New Hampshire. New Hampshire is a swing state.
I think that would be a realistic result.
