I would love to live in a red light district!  In fact I feel very bad whenever I am out of the red light district.

And the US, a country devoid of red light districts, is useless.

there's a big one in Minneapolis, althoug you have to do a bit of searching to find the prostitutes. It's mostly strip clubs, porn stores and gay bars, but the hookers ar ethere.

Streetwalkers?

There are maybe a dozen or two dozen streetwalkers scattered around the poorer parts of St. Louis, but they're almost all unattractive.

Hookers in the US are a terrible deal.  And most of what goes on in the pathetic American imitation of a 'red light district' is a big tease.

Man, you must really hate where you live.  It pretty much epitomizes suburbia, at least by Washington State standards.

Is real estate in Pat-Pong pricey?

The Reeperbahn/Grosse Freiheit gets tiresome after two or three strolls, so "suburb"

Well, to buy no doubt it would be, but to simply reside there in a rental apartment or hotel would be reasonable, say $200-300 per month.  Anyway Patpong is a bit too touristy.. there are better areas even in Bangkok, and of course beach resorts are much better.

Hah, good for you Trondheim.  While I'm back in this nightmare land for the summer you're our only red-light-district resident.  I used to live in the red light district in Geneva - which isn't saying much, but there were hookers.  I actually find the prostitutes in Europe an even worse deal overall than in the US!

I already live in a suburb and I like it here.  I like trees and lawns as scenery more than naked women, thanks.

Not to mention that naked women are available among the trees and lawns, if you know the right places to look. Cheesy

I'm not into middle aged housewives, the only ones you can find in a suburb. How many sex crazed 21 year olds live in the suburbs?

there you go. Something I will never do again (well for the long term, I'll be living with my parents for the next 4 days). Just not an option. Of course my parents don't live in a suburb, although they live in a city that's hardly any better.

What if they were hot, and were willing to pay you for sex?  It happens.
