Similar to the other threads for the Presidential race, Senate races, and House races, only this time for Gubernatorial races. In case you don't know the drill by now, select two options: One for the rating of this race, another for the winner.

ElectionsGuy, if you were planning on doing this, I apologize, and I'll let you do the rest of these. I just wasn't sure, and since it's October, I felt like it might be time to get started on them.

Current Balance of Power:

Republicans: 27
Democrats: 10
Independents: 1

Safe D, Carney wins 63-35 (might be nice to see a poll or two, though.)

Bonini will probably getting a slightly higher percentage than the last few GOP noms here, but otherwise this is safe R.

my best guess? 57-42.

Ha, I was, and I was actually planning on starting it today like you did. But no worries! You can do them and it's not a big deal. Doing presidential and house races is enough honestly.

Safe D, 61-38 Carney.

John Carney is going to win, hands down.

Delaware hasn't elected a Republican governor ever since dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Likely D. I think Carney wins 55-43, but it could be a bit closer.

I was trying to make a joke.

The eighties was indeed a long time ago and Michael Castle is a dinosaur, figuratively speaking.

Almost all states have elected governors of both parties since 1990. Delaware has an unusually long streak.

Republicans have won every Utah gubernatorial race since 1984. I think that's the national record for either party right now.
