Kaine is succeeding in defending Clinton and attacking Trump. Pence cannot even muster a coherent defense against Tax Evader McPorn Star.

Agree! Kaine isn't doing very good but he's defending his candidate, Pence not. Period

Elaine: We have a crisis in feral cat overpopulation in this country.  What would your administration do to help the cute kittens?

Kaine: Well, by not praising Vladimir Putin and refusing to pay taxes, like Trump does.  Trump doesn't pay his taxes, which means he hates kittens.

Kaine thinks allies like SK and Japan shouldn't have nukes? LMAO

They shouldn't. You have no understanding of the deep-seated rivalries in East Asia. Giving Japan and SK nukes with China already nuclear-armed is lighting a match to kerosene
Lol at thinkint the U.S. has a right to prevent sovereign, allied nations from having nukes. I'm sorry you are an internationalist warhawk that thinks Japan, SK, and China cannot work their own problems in a rapidly globalizing world. You do not have any idea how disrespectful and hypocritical it is for us to have nukes, when we have rivalries with China and Russia, but won't allow our Asian allies to do the same. Don't respond kid

Choosing this over the Wild Card Game was a poor decision.

At least he can defend his nominee, unlike someone.

No1 cares when Kaine interrupts Pence. They only care when Pence does it because he's on Trump's ticket. He still lacks composure and he's acting like more of a child than Pence

That describes the two VP candidates

I can't wait til the poll comes out. If Kaine wins it this truly is a testament to Atlas' bias.

Ever heard of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty?

Actually, have you every heard about international relations before tonight?

Pence isn't defending his boss, Kaine is. That is the job of the VP.

With all due respect, Pence is driving his points (whatever you may think of them) while Kaine seems all over the place. He really should focus on Trump's biggest faults, not try to rebutt everything Pence says.

And FTR, whoever convinced Trump to pick Pence was smart. He is definitely helping him.

Lmao.

You clearly have no clue about the tensions in Asia. SK and Japan having nukes would be disastrous for global peace.

This, I think, is going to be the biggest takeaway of the night.

This is the same forum that thought Rubio and Kasich won every GOP debate, right?  There you go.

If Kaine could keep his mouth shut when it's not his turn, he'd be winning. But he can't, so he's not.

Also, overall, I feel most of this is not relevant to what most Americans care about in regards what will affect their vote.

Kaine recovering really well in the second half of the debate. I think he was put off at how calm Pence was, but just kept hammering away and forced Pence to decouple himself from Trump too much

Not really, because of Trump Pence is stuck in an unwinnable situation. He can't defend him and isn't really even trying other then shaking his head in disbelief.

I think Kaine's strategy is to go for broke because he realizes not many people are going to have watched the whole debate. If he goes kitchen sink, there's more of a chance he'll have more strong moments and that they'll be replayed by the media.
