Kaine is wrapping this up nicely.

He certainly finished much better than he started.

Lol, why does Pence think Kaine is pro-life? Has he seen his voting record?

Um, do you miss the difference between personal belief and a belief that that shouldn't be imposed on others?

You whipped out that Mexican thing again?

The f?

That's going to be the first line anyone remembers from this debate, and that's bad for Pence

As a Mexican, I do wonder.

"That Mexican thing"  Alright Mr. Trump.

The only thing on which Pence seems to agree with the head of the ticket.

Pence wins this debate on points. More calm, likeable.

Does he think we should legalize murder as well? After all, he's only "personally" pro-life.  Why dictate morality?

People shouldn't be killed, but if someone wants to murder that is their choice.

Not sure if I am looking forward to the media's expert's analysis of this debate.

Well, Kaine dominated until the very end when Pence just had to steal the how on abortion of course. And he proved he was a coward on the death penalty.

To be fair, Kaine's record as Governor was anti-choice, but not pro-life.

He's gotten better (more pro-choice) since then, though.

No doubt that Pence won. In fact, given the Trump BS he had to work with, he was very good. Will it matter? Only if Trump hits it out of the park in the next debate.

The big question is how many women, Hispanics, Muslims, Asians, and millennials will abandon Clinton for Trump and move the dial based on Pence's performance?

Embarassing, when you call on the audience like that, and the audience is silent. You should never do it.

Connaway calling the sanders thing an 'insult'. Not surprised there.

We're fathers and husbands and brothers. It's a family unit. We just don't buy the home and paint the rooms for the women, we are protectors as well. That's why.

Someone on MSNBC said the biggest loser tonight was Ted Cruz because now the Christian conservatives will support Pence in 2020.

To be fair, Kaine was consistently vetoing proposals to expand death penalty in Virginia.

Also, as a Christian, I think Kaine really tried to speak to evangelicals with his quoting of Luke 6:45. For the uninitiated, the New International Verson: "A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of."

Unfortunately, it will fall on deaf ears, as the evangelicals who are voting for Trump are beyond reasoning with at this point, but it was a good attempt.

Pence is coming away from the debate as the winner. He has been described as pollished and Kaine was overly aggressive. It will be interesting to see what affect this will have on the race.

I good showing by Pence may not help Trump, but it could slow the slide Trump has been in.

More thought on the debate here: http://www.yourelection.net/2016/10/2016-vice-presidential-u-s-election-debate/
