Close to where the margin was back in August. Further evidence that we've reset. it will be nice to see OH gray again on our polls map.

Maybe Q was an outlier, but I'll definitely want to see the PPP poll before making any calls about the trend in Ohio.

OH > NC > FL

These will be the closest contests I think.

SLAP ME SIDEWAYS AND CALL ME SUSAN!  Trump's sinking faster than my pants in Kate Beckinsale's bedroom!

Nice poll!

That seems to jive with Clinton winning by 6 or 7

Truly a beautiful poll. The Pubs may be taking Iowa, but Ohio might not be theirs just yet.

Looks exactly right. I think there's a good chance Ohio will be the closest state on election night and not NC or NV. I still have Trump winning here though.

If Ohio is our closest state:

1. Arizona will also be close.
2. The national election won't be.

Even if Trump is a pretty decent fit for the state, I would be very surprised if Ohio ended up voting more than 5-6 points to the right of the nation.  So if Hillary can win by mid-single digits or better, Ohio will be a squeaker, and I think she'll just pull it out.

I'm skeptical of Ohio's PVI shifting dramatically.

I'm skeptical of Ohio's PVI shifting dramatically.

Maybe Trump's nomination has accelerated the Midwest's rightward drift and the Sunbelt's leftward one. Ron Brownstein wrote an article about this phenomenon today.

It isn't.  This is an outlier election, as much "status quo vs. anti-establishment" as it is "left vs. right."  The status quo ain't good for Ohio.
