This had to be 3 way because those options were very close. If none of these gets 40% we will have a Round 2

My votes goes to Morden

Morden easily.

I really don't understand why he's so underrated. He's one of the 2 or 3 funniest posters.

I think I used to be a lot funnier.  Or maybe I just used to try too hard to be funny.  I remember back sometime during Obama's first term, there was a thread on US General Discussion about a timetable for US withdrawal from Afghanistan, and I posted something that was basically an extended joke that analogized the whole thing into a metaphor about sex and pregnancy.  (I wish I could find that thread, but Google just failed me.)  But absolutely no one responded, so I concluded that my sense of humor was too mismatched with that of Atlas forum, and gave up.

However, I did pour as much funny as I could muster into that "Downfall parody" about Dave Leip being briefed by the mods (which is linked in my sig, but the link's now broken as that meemsy site now seems to be defunct).

Your self-referencing "Opinion of this thread?" thread has one of the highest density of jokes per post that I've ever seen.

Ah yes, this thread:

OK, important question.  If "Republicans" spelled backwards was a word, how would it be pronounced?  I vote for "SNAS-ill-BOO-per", where "snas" rhymes with "grass".

The difference between this thread and Oklahoma is that I would be sad if this thread didn't exist.

Other than that, they're exactly the same!

To follow up on this, let's see how this thread stacks up to Oklahoma:

-Both contain at least 10 or so people.
-Many of those people can't spell.
-They have similar taste in food: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=170381.msg3651595#msg3651595
-Bushie isn't losing weight in either of them.
-They include a similar number of walkable neighborhoods (zero).
-They've both contributed a similar number of electoral votes to Democratic presidential candidates in the last few decades.

Conclusion: This thread is exactly like Oklahoma, with the lone exception being that drj101 would be sad if this thread didn't exit.

I guess that I was still trying too hard to be funny at that point.  Tongue
