Trump dodged so many questions it wasn't funny.

If people wanted policy, trump was NOT the person for them

I would say Clinton, but there is no way he won, he just went back to his 1st debate self.

Tie. Bitter, intense election. America is at a crossroads. I don't know if Trump rebounded, but he may still be forced out of the election by the end of the week.

Trump.

Hillary could have put him out of his misery, but failed to do so.

It was really Trump vs the Moderators.

They were extremely biased against him to the point of being blatantly obvious.

I have not seen much of Anderson Cooper living outside the USA. His anti-Trump fever was just too thick. He was intense against the crowd or anyone getting in the way of his egotistical pursuit of Trump.

Hillary can win this election by saying nothing.

But for tonight, Trump won the debate and is still alive, just.

Video clips and mudslinging to continue.....

I'd say, wait and see. Trump lost and lost HARD on anything even tangentially related to substance, but after all that's not what people want nowadays. Right now I'd go with a tie.

One candidate called the other "the devil". I think Trump held his base together but his base isn't big enough to win the election.

In terms of knowledge, in terms of everything that actually matters in terms of being President, Clinton won.

The difference between a tie and a Trump loss is how normalized the American public is to a nominee calling the opponent's husband a rapist and saying that he'll put her into jail if he wins. Just because he didn't go into full implosion doesn't mean he won.

Trump didn't seem very knowledgeable on most questions.  Almost everything he said was just diarrhea of the mouth.

Which is always the case with that massive pile of sh*t the Republicans nominated.

Trump tonight:

Split with Pence on Syria
Threatened to jail opponent
Admitted to paying no taxes

And people think he won?

I have no idea what the hell people on this forum are smoking.

Puff puff pass.

Trump did worse than in the first debate. This won't patch the wound or stop the bleeding, he dug himself deeper. He managed to make it worse. His campaign is coming off the rails

Expect to be proved wrong by the debate flash polls and subsequent state polling.

Who loses (just from seeing some highlights)?

Anderson Cooper. That was f[inks]ing pathetic. Between this and that CNN Dem debate, he shouldn't ever be allowed to moderate again.

So far...

59% Clinton
26% Trump
19% Tie

I can't wait to see actual polls.

My guess is it will be close.

Most of the first debate polls had Trump winning even though he clearly lost, so they'll probably be the same by a larger margin this time

Either Trump victory or tie. Trump did some of his great one line rebuttals. Seriously though, the moderators are suppossed to moderate, not debate. The way the media has conducted itself sometimes in this election has been embarrassing.

It had already derailed, and he was just trying to salvage what was left, and it didn't work

Scientific polls will probably show something like 55% Trump and 35% Hillary 10% Tie.
But to be fair, he did better than I thought tonight.

I agree. Until very recently they've been going absurdly easy on the worst major-party nominee in modern history.

Politics is partly an expectations game.  It's doesn't matter what you think it should be, it's what it is.

Trump, narrowly. He was able to get under Clinton's skin and will be able to perpetuate the idea that the media is out to get him. The moderators lack of control and subsequent attempts to regain it will hurt Clinton.

Clinton destroyed Trump, but lets set that aside for now.

Did anyone notice that not only was Trump pale, raspy, and sniffing but was also unable to string together coherent sentences? Clearly whatever ailment he's hiding from the public is progressing rapidly. A brain parasite maybe?

We must have a bunch of newbies. That explains why this thread is such cancer.

TRUMP failed and shot himself in foot. He did not win the debate and will go down in the polls.

I, Antonio, and many others, refuse to become sociopaths who care more about "the optics" than, say, the fact that a major party nominee just promised to jail his political opponent if he wins. Perhaps you should reflect on how it comes so easily for you.
