To clarify: I am referring to the best states in each of these scenarios (however implausible), not just your avatar.

These will all be pretty boring for Republicans and Democrats, but could get interesting for Independents.  So, I'll add a scenario where you run as a "Liberal Independent" in a reverse-2016-style election:

As a Rep: WV, UT, AL (assuming no Trumpian antics)
As a Dem (lol): given that the GOP candidate would probably be to their left, WV (by far), TN, and OK.
As an Indie: TN, IN, ND.

[OSR stands with Israel]

Dem: VT, Hawaii, NY
GOP(lol): NH, OR, NJ
Indie: NH, OR,WA


In most cases i would run as a republican
