If businessman Donald Trump fails to win the election this November, is for some reason incapable of running for re-election in 2020, decides against running for re-election, or dies while in office, who would be your preferred candidate in the 2020 Republican Primaries if those 10 individuals were to announce their candidacy?

Of course, although I only ask that you vote if you're a Republican-leaning Independent or could see yourself voting in the GOP primary rather than the Democratic one.

Voted Kasich, but Baker/Rubio/Haley/Sasse are all fantastic options I would love to support. As long as Walsh doesn't get anywhere, this would be a terrific field.

I agree, that really would be a very strong Republican field. Unfortunately, I don't see who among them would appeal to the obviously large Trumpist segment of the party. So either the party in general will move in that direction or there'll likely be another disruptive candidate arising.

I voted Sasse, because I think he'd make a fantastic president, though to be honest, I'd rather he stay in the Senate and proceed through the ranks there. I'm actually writing him in this year.

Amash, Cruz, Cotton, Rubio, Pence and Haley in descending order after that. I'd also put Walker and Paul between Sasse and Amash.

I'll abstain from voting for Kasich and Baker, as I am from Trump this year, and Walsh is a non factor.

What about Kasich and Baker do you not like?
