An interesting suggestion for a Trump Hail Mary tonight, at the debate, from the NY Post:

Trump’s challenge is to earn a second look from them......He must show them that he understands their doubts and is ready for the awesome responsibility that comes with the Oval Office. He needs to win their confidence before he can win their votes....Call it a test of character or temperament or fitness. I call it heart, and Trump must finally reveal his...."

We'll see if he does (try) to take this advice.

I don't agree that Clinton is "crushing" it, she is just about average. But, she is lucky that Trump is even more vague and low energy than usual. He had slam dunk opportunities with the Supreme Court and immigration and he punted?!?

Because the GOP base is crazy and the other candidates sucked.

There is a case to be made for it (most of the army is Shia just like Iran, and Mosul is Sunni); but I doubt Trump knows any of this.
