Seeing threads specifically about Colorado and Pennsylvania made me think... why not have a thread about any given state? Each poster will mention a state, and the following poster will decide how good of a fit that poster is for the state they mentioned.

I'll start with California.

Probably not, assuming the poster in question is a Lief-type liberal.

A "good fit," sure, but you probably wouldn't win it as a Democrat.

Maybe. Perhaps a bit too left-leaning for certain parts of the state, but you'd get a healthy margin in Cuyahoga.

Yes (Wisconsin goes for conservative Republicans and liberal Democrats, for some reason).

Yes and no. He's a good fit for parts of the sate, but a poor fit for the areas that are increasing in population and political influence.

Good fit for North Carolina. Socially moderate to liberal, fiscally conservative, and would fit in among the emerging college educated population in the state.
