Bernie gets the nod and the GOP surprisingly nominates former NY Gov. George Pataki, a moderate. Who wins?

Pataki means much a stronger third-party rebel candidate than McMullin is now due to one crucial issue: abortion.

This completely depends on how social conservatives react and whether they back some other candidate.

Pataki could pick someone like Marco as VP to consolidate the base.

However, I think a narrow win for Sanders.

Senator Bernard Sanders (D-VT)/Senator Martin Heinrich (D-NM): 278 EV. (49.07%)
Former Governor George Pataki (R-NY)/Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL): 260 EV. (48.86%)
