Given that so many people do... I would like to know of the thought process and information behind this. Can you walk, step by step, how you came to this conclusion?

I just saw an interview on the BBC with a woman who was basically asked this question - "why should Clinton be locked up?" "because she broke the law"..

and I think that's all you're going to get out of Trump supporters, people who believed she broke the law despite investigations that concluded she didn't.

I'm pretty sure it comes down to your source of news.

People who get their information from Fox News or right-leaning sources seem to be pretty well convinced that Clinton is a criminal.  Many of them seem to think Trump is not.

Because she's corrupt, has no core values, is malleable to the point of insanity. There is evidence that Bill and Hill got rich from a combination of her tenure as SoS and Bill's speaking engagements. There's a damning nexus between contributions to the Clinton Foundation slush funds and contracts given out to her cronies in Haiti and Africa.

She thinks rules do not apply to her and that it was acceptable to delete 33,000 e-mails on her own volition, after she was served with a subpoena. All she has done after that is lie and lie and lie and lie and spin and spin and spin and spin.

She stole the White House china on the way out last time. She stole furniture from the State Department during her tenure as SoS.

She made thousands on cattle futures trades that no reasonable person would do. She was embroiled in the Whitewater scandal. She was involved in a scandal where missing billing records mysteriously showed up on a White House coffee table.

She's so pathetic that she had to cover up that she had pneumonia, only to be aptly caught "fainting" at Ground Zero on September 11.

Shall I go on? I haven't even gotten to the pay-for-play antics for foreign nations to get off of the terror watch list, have arms to be sold to them, etc. Or the other ridiculous, unnecessary scandals she and her husband's administration got into that sidetracked the country in the 90s (filegate, travelgate, etc.)

Yes.

So please explain your reasoning. Again, explain where the information came from and the logical steps towards criminality. Don't just go off making unsubstantiated claims like some Seriously? sock.

clintons-emails-a-criminal-charge-is-justified-1453419158

Michael Mukasey can explain the legal argument better than I can.

I will say this, personally:  I can think of no other major political figures outside of Bill and Hillary Clinton that do a worse job of avoiding the appearance of impropriety in just about everything.

So you're saying that they're worse at bullsh**tting the American people? How is this a negative?

I have little doubt that she lied to the FBI and to Congress.  I have little doubt that she deliberately mishandled classified information.  These matters are, indeed, crimes.  The laws governing classified information are what they are for good reasons.

If the e-mail matter were the only blot on Hillary's public record, most folks would give her some slack.  But the revelations of how things are bigger than she said they were bring a "This, again?" response from lots of folks, including folks who aren't real political.

The Clintons can't appear to be above question because they're not.  They don't really try to appear that way; they rely on parsing words and lawyer-ese to muddy waters.  What they've done during Hillary's 2016 campaign isn't the first time.

Trump is Trump is Trump, but he was elected in competitive primaries.  Hillary, however, had the deck cleared for her by the DNC; it took a non-Democrat Socialist who was an outlier to provide a credible challenge to Clinton's nomination.  The Democratic Party cleared the decks for a sleazebag.  Since Bill will come back as the First Gentleman, that will make it two (2) sleazebags.  When a party can nominate a candidate with basic integrity and blocks that for Clinton Redux, what does it say to John Q. Public?

She isnt any more of a criminal than the average politician. And I bet that the people who cry "lock her up" dont even care about the emails. They just dislike her because she is a politician that has been in the spotlight for 25 years. If the email thing was done by someome on their side they would be completely quiet and most likely a large portion of people who dismiss it as nothing now would suddenly think it is a big deal. Basically just partisan nonsense like always.

I suspect that Clinton has enough lawyers to not cross the line to actually get sent to prison.

That being said, she is deeply dishonest.

Remember Jennifer Flowers?

The Clinton's lied to the world that Bill did not have an affair - but he did. (Clinton admitted to the affair, under oath, as part of the Paula Jones lawsuit he settled by giving Jones $850,000 plus surrendering his law license)

So in essence, the entire Clinton Presidency was built on a lie.

The latest "weiner" emails?

The FBI had to get a subpoena to look at the emails as the original warrant was related to underage sexting.

To get a subpoena to have to supply the judge with "probable cause" that a crime has been committed. - That is Black Letter Law.

The media bulltweet that the investigation into email has not be reopened is legal horse feathers... by definition getting a warrant represents probable cause... to get the warrant a judge has to certify probable cause of  a crime.....

The Clinton's left the White House "broke" but suddenly have $262 million? - What were they selling?

Why were the closed door speeches so VERY different than the public ones?

Back in Arkansas they "invest" $1000 in hog futures with a friend, which magically turns into $100,000...

Do you seriously contend Hillary is clean and pure?
