I do not think so.  As soon as exit polls came out Kellyanne Conway started to complain that the Trump campaign did not get the full support of the GOP party establishment.  Sounds like talks of someone that felt they have lost.

yeah, nigel farrage did the same before the polls closed regarding brexit.

does people don't have any kind of clue....like everyone else.

but while brexit was a majority position (with the exclusion of britons leaving in continental europe), trump hasn't won a majority at all.

I think deep down, Donald knew he had a silent majority because he never gave up hope of winning.

Given how close he was, Trump would have been elated given some of his business experience where he had near death experiences.
