5/7 isn't perfect. I will expect to see this problem rectified.
See: Sullivan's Theorem on Movie Rating.

Whoa.

Ryan: You want us to raise taxes by how much?

Trump: They're tariffs. And only on Mexico and Jhina by 50%.

McConnell: Fifty percent? *feels bad*

Trump: Trust me. We'll bring jobs back.

Trump: Christie, I want to make myself clear. You're fired.

Christie: What?

Trump: I didn't say you could form an Investigation into the Clintons. I didn't say you could just arrest them.

Christie: I haven't arrested them yet. I'm waiting until the investigation seems realistically long enough. And they've gone into hiding, aided by your daughter, anyway.

Trump: Arrest them now.

Christie: What?

Trump: Call an emergency press conference right now.

The Clintons' (Public enemies #1, 2 and 5) Secret hideout

Ivanka: You might want to see this.

Bill: Is it a pretty lady?

Ivanka: It's breaking news that concerns your case.

That's all for now.

The Press Conference

Christie: We have discovered evidence that the Clintons have committed numerous crimes over the years. They will be in court at the beginning of May.

Hillary: Will we be showing up?

Ivanka: It'll be rigged. You'll be found guilty.

Bill: But will there be pretty ladies?

Hillary: Ahem.

In Court May 1, 2017

I'm continuing this and another TL today with a fast forward ahead. In this timeline, it's election night 2017 now. A summary of what happened.

If Trump's motives seem odd, it's because he's mentally unstable in this TL and not because the writer is lazy. (Why would you think that?) Christie ends up getting locked up for falsifying evidence as does Bannon for that stuff. Trump nominates Jared Kushner to replace both (plus Ivanka's position) and he gets accepted three times because of the R majority. Ivanka Trump comes back after the Clintons are cleared and now just joins cabinet meetings to try to be a voice of reason.

Melania Trump's anti-fat people and anti-cyberbullying campaigns cancel each other out and she is mainly seen as a joke, especially after her anti-fat people campaign blatantly plagiarizes Michelle Obama once again.

The economy begins to destabilize with unemployment rising from 4.4% to 5.5% by November and prices through the roof as China begins to stop trading certain goods with the US. Stocks are unstable, going from record highs to very low lows. Trump's foreign policy (which ended up being bomb everything) also isn't helping as the UN has requested that he stop and sanctions are being out up against the US now.

The 2017 elections look bad, but Putin has an elite hacker team at the ready.

ELECTION NIGHT 2017

8:00 PM

News Pearson: Hello, this is a News Pearson here to cover the latest news on the 2017 elections. We're going to start with Virginia, where the polls just closed and we can get early calls and an exit poll on their Governor and House of Delegates races.

Virginia 9% Reporting
Ed Gillespie 50.1%
Ralph Northam 46.6%

Pundit: These results are actually surprisingly -

Pearson
: I'm going to have to interrupt you there. It looks like we have BREAKING NEWS! Trump's White House has just announced that they are going to announce some staff shakeups throughout tonight! Their first announcement is a little known judge who they are elevating to the national spotlight by nominating to the Supreme Court. This judge's name is John Barron.

November 8, 2017 - The White House

Trump: At least we still have our Senate majority.

McConnell: We lost every single major election tonight. By, er, huge amounts. The last PPP poll, well. . .

PPP Poll, Nov. 5-6

Do you approve or disapprove of the job President Trump is doing?
Approve 22%
Disapprove 75%

Trump: Nonsense. I conducted an internal and it had those same numbers, just reversed.

McConnell: What internal?

Trump: The one I conducted just now. In my very good brain.

Ryan: 2018 does not look good.

Trump: My internals disagree. They say that I will be reelected.

Full 2017 results:

New Jersey
Richard Codey 58.4%
Jack Ciattarelli 38.8%

Virginia
Ralph Northam 53.1%
Ed Gillespie 44.2%

New Jersey General Assembly: 59 - 21
New Jersey Senate: 28 - 12
Virginia House of Delegates: 53 - 47

Special Elections
All incumbent parties held their House seats in special elections.
Democrats gained the North Carolina Senate (26-24) and Republicans barely lost the House of Representatives (65-55, with an Indy caucusing with the Rs).

Russia

Giuliani: I thought you hacked the election!?

Putin: I did! *checks computer*

Giuliani: Then why did the Democrats win?

Putin: Oops hacked it the wrong way lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Putin: I did successfully hack one election though.
