Hillary failed to mobilize the Obama coalition.

Had she succeeded, she would be president, but she didn't.

Just who can mobilize the Obama coalition?

Successful President Trump will mobilize them in 2020 and win in landslide.

Forget the Obama coalition. We need the New Deal coalition.

The Obama coalition works if your name is Obama. It doesn't work for other people.

Who cares! Obama Coalition is dead! Move forward not backwards!

It is time for a new progressive coalition!

I don't think anyone can mobilize the exact same coalition. Each candidate is going to have weak spots and strong spots and might just add their own touches to said coalition.

For instance, I think Warren can thoroughly energize Millennials and single women, two critical parts, and maintain or perhaps slightly expand the white voter support Hillary lost, but as for older minorities, particularly older African Americans, I'm not entirely sure how she would play out with them. I do think she might perform better with white women, though.

I don't know much about Harris, but I do feel like she might be able to energize minorities somewhat like Obama, particularly female minorities. Millennials might have some draw to her as well. Unsure about white voters in general.

I'll have to keep better track over various potential candidates for the next 3~ years.
