Is this a good idea? He's from Michigan, and is a solid liberal AFAIK. He'll be sixty-two in 2020 which isn't too old. Are there any horrible things about him that I don't know?

After watching a few videos of him talking, he's slightly boring, but I think he could make a solid VP candidate.

He doesn't look Presidential; and is extremely average. If we went with a Midwest Senator I'd much rather Klobuchar or Franken

Minnesota is the wrong part of the Midwest, although I agree they are good candidates.

I would vote for boring over brutal any and every day, but I don't know if its wise to take that chance if we don't have to. Good guy, not winning-presidential material.
