Personally, I don't think he should run due to age. It's a damn shame he isn't 10 years younger. That being said, he should be the de facto face of the Democratic Party for the time being. Let him be the caretaker until the torch is passed.

It would mean his VP choice is very important, like McCain's was. But as long as he avoids the Democratic Sarah Palin it wouldn't be a big issue.
