"Brilliant"? This is literally something that any person with a little bit of political thinking could think of. But you're right, it's just going to pave the way for someone like Lewandowski to head the RNC.

Off to a good start! Priebus walked a tightrope the whole election and has earned my trust back (he had lost it in 2012). I think he's a very good pick.

We need Bannon outside of the White House. His role is better suited in Trump's political operations, not policy endeavors.

Reince Preibus is the signal Trump plans to be a mainstream GOPer for two years. Bannon is Chief of Staff in waiting or intends to be politically dominant in the White House.

Watch these men and see how much power they have. The Alt Right and Corporate GOP are in an uneasy truce, but how that truce holds is under question.

This is kind of strange for me because my mom and I worked in the same place all summer and on the way there, she would listen to Breitbart news in the car, so I would hear Steve Bannon's voice every single day. I learned to tune out what he was saying, but I knew from the get go that he was a vile, hateful man. Like Sean Hannity on steroids. Odd to think he'll be advising the President.
