Trump meeting with Farage before any other UK politicians isn't some sort of accident. It's birds of a feather getting together.

I think this rule might apply to most prospective authoritarians, but one thing that distinguishes Trump from many of them is that 1) He's utterly incompetent and 2) He's a pathological liar.  We, of course, have to be vigilant and see how he tries to assert himself, however.
