First off, I would like to wish Supersoulty the best of luck in his future endeavors, whatever they may be. With the sad news of his retirement from forum politics must come the inevitable task of choosing a replacement candidate for the Republican nomination for forum President. I had earlier dropped out of the presidential election to support Supersoulty, however, I wish now to carry on his legacy. I hereby announce my candidacy for the Republican nomination for president.
I would like to ask for the support of my party in the days ahead. I will need every bit of support any of you can offer. I will not be able to take Supersoulty's place, nor will I try. I hope that I can inspire our grand old party and lead it to victory.
Let's win one for the Gipper!
