I picked Heinrich, but I'd be fine with most any of those.

Harris is the strongest on paper, imo. I could see her on a ticket with a white Midwestern governor elected in 2018

Cory Booker narrowly beats Bernie Sanders.

Democrats aren't falling for that again.

These are my top ten of those listed and thus probably the least likely to win:
1. Bel Edwards
2. Wyden
3. Tester
4. Bullock
5. Heinrich
6. Manchin
7. Heitkamp
8. Casey
9. Nelson
10. Donnelly

In actuality, out of those I put, I could see Schweitzer, Maccaskill or Heinrich winning.

Heinrich, maybe. The other two? I doubt it. Then again, if McCaskill actually manages to win re-election against a non-Akinesque opponent, she might be a good candidate.

Where is all this Kamala Harris hype coming from? She's not even a Senator yet.

Neither was Obama in 2004.

What does everyone think about a Kamala Harris/John Bel Edwards ticket?

That would be... bizarre. Can't imagine Edwards on a national Democratic ticket. If you're looking for a centrist white male governor, someone like Bullock is more likely.

Schweitzer has a better shot at winning the nomination than Heinrich, IMO.

Only in the sense that neither has any real chance of winning the nomination.

Schweitzer would have had a strong chance 20 years ago. Not today. Heinrich is a good fit for the modern party but is also not nearly interesting enough to break out. O'Malley 2.0.

Has she done anything to indicate presidential ambition?  Booker visited with early primary state delegations at the DNC this year, for example, which is a major hint that he has presidential ambitions.  And Warren already has something of a national following, and led the first 2020 Dem. primary poll we got.  So I'd put both of them ahead of Harris in a ranking of "most likely 2020 nominee", for example.

And I really don't get how anyone can vote Schweitzer in this.  Schweitzer as "most likely" to win the nomination?  Were you paying attention to the stuff he was saying in the leadup to the 2016 race?

I don't recall Obama doing anything like that in 2004, either, so this point seems to be neither here nor there. Booker clearly has presidential ambitions, but so did Tom Vilsack. That doesn't mean much in terms of winning the nomination.
