As has been stated often the more charismatic candidate always wins.

However, its not just a better speaker or physical appearance, but I think its also
the better Campaigner and someone who has the energy to get out the vote and
energize voters to believe in him/her and believe in their message.

For the most part, political parties are dead as far a presidential elections.
Political parties lose when they choose the boring next in line candidate who
has no grassroots support or energetic voters.

Trump is a great communicator and a great salesman/marketer.

But Trump can be beat with other "High Energy" politicians who can energize voters.

I see Cuomo and Booker as powerful speakers and energetic campaigners.

Liz Warren is a good speaker but doesn't seem energetic enough for a national campaign.
A lot of senators get caught up in intellectual pontificating rather than one-liner crowdpleaser lines.

Hillary tried really hard, but she's just not as good of a campaigner or politician as her husband or Obama.  Voters (the majority of voters) no longer seem to care about Liberal or Conservative issues.  They only want to vote for someone who excites their passion for the future of the country and their economic jobs.  The labels of political parties can rally the 30% of the base supporters.

But it seems the rest of the country abhors political labels and just wants the best person who speaks to them and for them to be president.
