Pritzker wants to put a government tracker on all of our cars, just terrible!

don't see why people think jb will commit heinous crimes during his time as governor — he is already wealthy beyond the scope of human imagination

Strangely, the wealthiest people also tend to be the greediest. Money is a helluva drug.

I feel like I need a shower after watching that debate. Very little policy specifics discussed. Lots of yelling between Rauner/Pritzker and Rauner/McCann. On issues of policy, Rauner did very well at driving the narrative, though McCann also did very well at dominating Rauner.

Ugh.

Rauner sounded like quite the grump in that debate.

TBH, I'd be quite a grump if I were Bruce Rauner right now.

I'd be really grumpy too if I spent tens of millions of dollars just to get through a primary and then find out I'm losing by double digits in pretty much every poll, with no real path to reelection. I don't know the exact figures, but he has spend an ungodly sum of money for this.

If I remember correctly his campaign alone has spent something like $45 million, not including PACs and stuff

How ironic that he will be defeated by another corrupt billionaire who spent even more of his own money.

Pritzker has self-funded over $100 million.

Kash Jackson is most famous for missing out on his child support payments.

At least McCann can represent the Downstate Voice.

I know yard signs don't mean anything, but I was surprised to actually see a couple of McCann-Merreighn signs while driving through the 13th District this weekend.

Saw JB Pritzker, McCann and Webb for Senate sign in downstate Illinois in the 12th as I was driving yesterday!

I wouldn't be surprised if McCann sinks Rauner way below 35%. Rauner will be toaster than toast.

This morning's headlines are probably too late to shift the election outcome given Pritzker's lead in the polls, but the charge from the Cook County Inspector General could create a cloud over the next administration. I can see people trying to create deeper links between Blagojevich and Pritzker. They were already featured on federal wiretap tapes together during the primary this spring discussing the disposition of Obama's Senate seat in 2008.

Cook County watchdog says 'scheme to defraud' saved Pritzker $330,000 in property taxes

This family is worth billions of dollars and they were ripping out toilets in mansions in what stinks like a third-rate sleazy real estate scheme? Seriously? How cheap are these people?

As if Pritzker weren’t DISGUSTING enough already.  He will be in jail by the end of his term, or shortly after it.  This man is more corrupt than the average Cook County hack, which says a lot.  There are a lot of bad things to say about Rauner, but calling him corrupt is really, really reaching. If he was more corrupt he might have actually accomplished some things.  Sadly he is not corrupt.

Yeah, both candidates are atrocious. I'd definitely be voting third-party here.

Err.

I mean this seems pretty standard as far as cook county is concerned.

There are two third party candidates. One is a far right Trumpist and the other is a libertarian who didn't pay his child support and might be a wife beater, so have fun with that...lol.

I'd be solidly on the write-in train here. Hillary Clinton for Illinois governor in 2018! Smiley
